Adams & Martin Group is proud to partner with a highly respected AmLaw 200 law firm in La Jolla in their search for an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional with 2+ years of litigation experience who excels in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Litigation Secretary Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and finalize a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
  • Handle state and federal e-filing with accuracy, ensuring strict adherence to court rules, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Provide comprehensive litigation case management, including file maintenance, discovery organization, and trial preparation support.
  • Serve as a polished and professional liaison for clients, court staff, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and all litigation deadlines.
  • Prepare and process billing documentation, including time entries and expense reports.
  • Track and follow up on critical deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all tasks.
